On November 28, 2023, at approximately 9:43 p.m., 20-year-old Deon Crawford was fatally shot in the 900 block of Dressage Trace in Blacklick, Ohio. Columbus Police officers responding to reports of a shooting found Crawford in a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead at 10:13 p.m.
Investigations revealed that Crawford had met with two men in the parking lot for reasons yet to be determined.
