On December 24, 2023, at approximately 3 a.m., Cincinnati police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of Millvale Court in the South Cumminsville neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Evelyn Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
