On January 19, 2024, at approximately 7:44 a.m., the Morgan County Sheriff's Office received a distress call reporting a shooting in the basement of a residence on Coal Street in Chesterhill, Ohio. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 32-year-old Trey D. Dixon of Glouster, Ohio, deceased from a single gunshot wound.
