On April 27, 2024, David Allen Jr., a 19-year-old resident of Bellaire, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed at the Francis Wallace Apartments. The incident occurred around 9 p.m., when local police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Allen with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
