Death by Force

Kenneth Gay, a 33-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed outside the Exhale Hookah Lounge in the early hours of August 31, 2024. The incident occurred around 2:16 a.m., prompting multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire. Upon arrival, emergency services found Gay suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel. The Summit County Medical Examiner later ruled his death a homicide.
