On September 25, 2024, Heather Harris, a 35-year-old resident of Conneaut, Ohio, was found deceased in her home. Her boyfriend, 45-year-old Nathan Sumner, turned himself in to the Conneaut Police Department, confessing to the shooting. Officers discovered Harris's body on a couch, with multiple gunshot wounds.
