On November 11, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Dayton, Ohio, resulting in the death of 29-year-old De'ja Powers. The incident took place at the Desoto Bass Courts apartments, located in the 1700 block of West Stewart Street. At approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire, with witnesses stating they heard about five or six shots.
