On March 28, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Mora, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Jerome Alcon. The New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was called to investigate a homicide at a residence in Mora. Around 7:30 p.m., Mora County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a disorderly disturbance involving a gun at 15 County Road A037.
