On May 28, 2023, 18-year-old Areli Rodriguez tragically lost her life in a shooting incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque Police Department responded to reports of a female with a gunshot wound at 920 Louisiana Blvd., S.E., where they found Rodriguez deceased at the scene. Another male victim was also shot and transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
