On a summer evening in Belen, New Mexico, what began as a dispute over mail tragically escalated, ending the life of 45-year-old Lisa Lavonne Swift-Bird. The White / Caucasian woman was fatally shot on June 30, 2023, in the parking lot of a local Sonic restaurant following a heated argument.
