Elisa Aleman, a 49-year-old resident of Portales, New Mexico, tragically passed away on July 26, 2023, in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide incident. The Roosevelt County Sheriff's Department responded to a call about apparent gunshot victims at a residence in the 1900 block of Westview-Garnet Road, northwest of Portales.
