Darrell Harrell, age 45, was shot and killed on December 16, 2008, in Miami, Florida. He was attempting to remove drug dealers from the Overtown neighborhood, which made him a target. Darrell’s death was featured on an episode of "The First 48," which followed Miami detectives Sgt. Altarr Williams and Frankie Sanchez as they investigated the homicide. Despite their efforts, the case experienced setbacks and eventually went cold without any arrests being made.
