Ismael Pico, aged 43, was found dead on January 15, 2009, in his home located on Northwest 13th Avenue in Miami, Florida. Initially, his girlfriend, Deborah Lynn Andrews, called 911 claiming that Ismael had taken his own life. However, upon investigation by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office, it was determined that he died from a stab wound, and the case was ruled a homicide.
