On January 26, 2024, 39-year-old Mario Trejo was tragically killed in a triple homicide at his Coon Rapids, Minnesota, home. The victims included his wife, 42-year-old Shannon Patricia Trejo, and her son, 20-year-old Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth. The incident occurred around 12:24 p.m. when authorities responded to a 911 call with "sounds of disturbance" in the background.
