In the early morning hours of April 3, 2024, the life of 41-year-old Robert James Brown, a Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The incident unfolded around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Lafond Avenue and Grotto Street North, where a chaotic scene of gunshots, screaming, and speeding cars prompted multiple 911 calls.
