On February 8, 2023, a tragic and violent incident occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Kristen "Fatt Joe" Carter, along with her sibling, Tationa "Tyee" Hudgins. This event was part of a larger mass shooting that took place in the area of Chef Menteur and Bullard, claiming the lives of seven individuals in total.
