In the early morning hours of April 18, 2024, a tragic event unfolded in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Dalton Reeder. The incident, which also claimed the life of his 71-year-old father, Douglas Patterson, took place in the 4000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
