In the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans, a burst of gunfire on March 27, 2024, tragically ended the life of Marlin Rashad Davis, a 23-year-old African American man. Davis and a female companion were both struck by bullets in the 2700 block of Arts Street. In a desperate attempt to save his life, he was rushed to a local hospital in a private vehicle, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
