On May 7, 2024, a shooting incident occurred in the 100 block of La. Hwy 119 in Natchez, Louisiana, just south of the Natchez Place Apartments. Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO) Operations Bureau deputies responded to a report from the NATCOM 911 Center around 8:16 pm, finding a male victim, Jonathan T. “Debo” Howard, 44, of Natchitoches, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and lying in a ditch off Hwy. 119.
