Murdered

On April 2, 2023, at around 8 p.m., a fatal shooting occurred in Lewisport, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 41-year-old Roger Benningfield Jr. The incident took place at a home on Curtis Street, where Kentucky State Police were called in to assist the Lewisport Police Department.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found Roger Benningfield Jr. with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
