On August 13, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Owenton, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Bryce Stewart. The incident took place early Sunday morning, just before 1:30 a.m., when Kentucky State Police responded to a reported shooting on the 3000 block of Squiresville Road.

Upon arrival, police found Bryce Stewart shot, and he was later pronounced deceased by the Owen County Coroner.
