On December 18, 2023, 47-year-old Deborah Jean Meece, also known as Debra Meece, was found deceased in her London, Kentucky home in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. The tragic event unfolded after the London-Laurel County Communications Center received a distressing call from a man who reported that his friend had shot his girlfriend.
