On June 27, 2024, Jesse Allen Moore, a 44-year-old resident of Benton, Kentucky, was found deceased at his residence in the Possom Trot area of Marshall County. The discovery was made after the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 received a call from the US Forestry Service regarding an abandoned vehicle located in the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
