In the early hours of Wednesday, July 10, 2024, a dispute on Polly Hollow Road in Perry County, Kentucky, ended in tragedy, claiming the life of 20-year-old Braxton Kyle Marlowe. The young man, a resident of Hazard, Kentucky, was fatally shot during the altercation. Born on September 10, 2003, in Hazard, Braxton was a father who was known for his love of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers and horses.
