On November 13, 2023, 37-year-old Anna Wessel was found dead at her home in Oregon City, Oregon. Her husband, Anthony Wessel, 41, turned himself in at the Oregon City Police Department, reporting that he had shot his wife. Officers responded to the Wessel residence on Squire Drive near South Meyers Road, where they confirmed Anna's death.
