On a Sunday night in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the life of a young Hispanic man, Santos David Canizales, was tragically cut short. On October 8, 2023, the 23-year-old male was in the area of Congress Avenue and Shurtleff Street when violence erupted. At approximately 10:23 p.m., the sound of gunfire prompted multiple 911 calls to the Chelsea Police Department.
