In the early hours of Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2023, the life of a 27-year-old Black / African American woman, Danasia Greene, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The shooting, which occurred just after midnight in the city's bustling Central Square, also left a 26-year-old Boston man injured.
