On March 3, 2024, 24-year-old Loren Marino and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Austin Amaral, were found dead in Marino's home on Broadway in Haverhill, Massachusetts, in what authorities have identified as a murder-suicide. The Essex County District Attorney's Office confirmed that investigators believe Amaral murdered Marino before turning the gun on himself.
