In a quiet home in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, the lives of 27-year-old Dylan Pariseau and his mother were brought to a tragic end on June 18, 2024. The white male was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School and Keene State College, where he earned a degree in biology that led to a career as a research assistant in the pharmaceutical industry. He and his mother, Sima Pariseau, were active and devoted members of the St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church in Springfield, where Sima served as the vice chair of the board of trustees.
On that Tuesday morning, police responded to a request for a well-being check at the family's residence on Main Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a grim scene. Through a window, they could see the body of Peter Donaldson, Sima's 56-year-old domestic partner. After forcing their way into the home, they found Donaldson in the living room with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The search of the home led to a devastating discovery in the basement. There, police found the bodies of Dylan and Sima Pariseau. Both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation conducted by the Hampden District Attorney's Office, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Wilbraham Police Department concluded that the incident was a double murder-suicide.
