Michael Valentin, a 38-year-old security officer with Critical Intervention Services (CIS), was tragically killed on the night of November 21, 2012, while on duty at the Grande Oaks Apartments in Tampa, Florida. Valentin had previously worked for the New York City Homeless Services Police Department before moving to Florida.
