Edward Milam Calton, a 49-year-old male, was shot with a handgun during the argument that took place at a residence on East State Road 56. The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m., prompting a response from the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene and transported Calton to Scott County Memorial
