Death by Force

On July 18, 2024, Ronald G. Frieson, widely known as Ron Gee, a 39-year-old prominent community activist and restaurant owner from Indianapolis, was fatally shot. The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. at a Citgo gas station located at 38th Street and Arlington Avenue on the city's east side. Gee was found still in his Chevrolet Tahoe when officers arrived at the scene.
