Wenstan Jamal “Redd” Penermon, born on March 12, 1985, in Kankakee, Illinois, to Jeanette Brookshaw, passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 38. His death occurred in Saint Anne, Illinois, and was the result of gun violence.
Wenstan was an active member of his community and a devout individual, having accepted Christ at an early age and been baptized by Pastor Jessica Copeland. He was a part of the Pentecostal Power House Church.
