Trenadi Michelle Lane Bateman, a 19-year-old resident, was fatally shot on November 10, 2023, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of State Street, where officers were called around 7:30 a.m. following a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities found Trenadi Bateman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was subsequently transported to Touchette Regional Hospital in Cahokia Heights, where she was pronounced dead.
