Murdered

Alicia L. Cole, a 40-year-old woman, was fatally shot on December 13, 2023, in her home located in the 1100 block of Westshire Drive in Joliet, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night when Joliet police received a 911 call from Cole herself, during which she reported that a man was attempting to enter her home. Upon arrival, police found that the front window of the house was broken, but it is believed that the perpetrator forced entry through the front door.
