Dr. Antoinette Bonnie Candia-Bailey, a prominent academic administrator, passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 49 in Plainfield, Illinois. Her death was a result of suicide, which occurred just five days after she received a termination letter from her position as the vice president for student affairs at Lincoln University of Missouri, a role she had assumed on May 1, 2023.
