Jennifer Heit, 40, a female and White / Caucasian from Plainfield, Illinois, was killed on the morning of September 29, 2025, in what police describe as a murder-suicide inside the Clublands subdivision off Burshire Court. Officers were dispatched around 5:50 a.m. after reports of gunfire; when they arrived, they found Ryan Heit dead in the yard from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and Jennifer Heit, 40, fatally shot inside the home’s garage.
