Death by Force

On March 20, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Orland Park, Illinois, resulting in the death of Mechellea Williams, a 28-year-old mother of three from Chicago. Williams, affectionately known as "Precious" by her family, was found shot inside a vehicle in the 170th block of Redbud Lane in the Orland Ridge Towns and Villas complex. Orland Park police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 12:03 a.m. and made life-saving attempts, but Williams succumbed to her injuries.
