Mechellea Williams was a postal worker in downtown Chicago, having worked for the last 8 months at a post office located at Dearborn and Ohio. Tyshann Boyd, 28, also from Chicago, was arrested on August 20 and charged with Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon. Alexis Hernandez, 20, from Crete, Illinois, was arrested on August 12 and charged with Obstructing Justice.
