On April 21, 2024, a tragic domestic shooting incident occurred in the 5500 block of Babette Court in Oak Forest, Illinois. The incident resulted in the death of 39-year-old Mohannad G. Othman, a resident of Oak Forest. Othman was shot multiple times in the head and was pronounced dead at 8:56 p.m. on the same day after being transported to a local hospital.
