On May 31, 2024, the Beardstown Police Department responded to a 911 call at a residence in the 1400 block of Clay Street in Beardstown, Illinois. Upon arrival, officers found a male subject deceased in a vehicle near the residence. The victim was later identified as 27-year-old Steve Dominguez of Beardstown.

The investigation into Dominguez's death was conducted by the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Zone 4, who were requested by the Beardstown Police Dep ...
