On August 20, 2024, 18-year-old Martez Omarion Morrow, affectionately known as "Billy Madison," "big twin," and "doodlebug," was tragically killed in a shooting in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the 300 block of West 75th Street, where Martez sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the left torso.
