On August 20, 2024, 18-year-old Martez Omarion Morrow, affectionately known as "Billy Madison," "big twin," and "doodlebug," was tragically killed in a shooting in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the 300 block of West 75th Street, where Martez sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the left torso. Despite being rushed to St. Bernard Hospital, he was pronounced dead. Two other individuals, aged 19 and 20, were also injured in the shooting. The ...
