On May 5, 2023, Stephen Tingen, a 49-year-old former Mayor of Gray, Georgia, was found dead at his home in Forsyth, Monroe County, Georgia. The incident occurred while deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were serving a search warrant at his residence on Mallie Drive.
