On September 20, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Walmart Super Center located at 4166 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of 20-year-old Zoey Nicole Messenger and 26-year-old James Wyatt Norton, both residents of Hiram.
