Cynthia Smith, aged 51, was found deceased on February 4, 2024, in Waynesboro, Georgia. Authorities discovered her and 50-year-old William Proveau inside a recreational vehicle at Shade RV Park, both with apparent gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigations by the Burke County Sheriff's Office suggest that Proveau fatally shot Smith before taking his own life.
