Shalonde A'Jessica Stevens, a 27-year-old resident of Statesboro, Georgia, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident on February 14, 2024, in Claxton, Georgia.

The incident occurred at the Relax Inn on US Highway 301 in Claxton. On Wednesday morning, around 7:00 a.m., the Claxton Police Department and the Evans County Sheriff’s Office responded to 911 calls regarding a shooting at the motel.
