On May 13, 2015, 32-year-old Aaron "A.J." Jones was shot and killed while walking along Register Road in Fruitland Park, Florida. Witnesses reported seeing Jones in an argument with three to four men just before the fatal shooting. Despite efforts by law enforcement, the individuals responsible for his death have not been identified, and the case remains unsolved.
