In the quiet evening of October 21, 2024, the life of 51-year-old Latrinda Williams was tragically cut short in Warner Robins, Georgia. Police were called to a home on Suzanne Drive at approximately 10:40 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Williams with a fatal gunshot wound to her head. Emergency medical responders attempted to resuscitate her, but she was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. While Williams did not reside at the house where she was found, she was known to be friends with the occupants. Some neighbors later recalled hearing what sounded like two gunshots in the time leading up to the discovery.

The investigation into the homicide led to the arrests of two individuals. Roriquez Davis, an 18-year-old, was taken into custody and faced a series of serious charges, including murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. A second man, 33-year-old Lamante Brown, was also arrested in connection with the case. Brown was charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. The Warner Robins Police Department continued to seek information from the public to aid in their ongoing investigation.

Known affectionately as 'Pooh' to her friends and family, Latrinda Williams was remembered as a loving woman who cherished spending time with her loved ones. She was a mother to six children and a doting grandmother to eleven grandchildren. Her obituary noted her love for doing her makeup and dressing up to celebrate life. She had attended Northside High School and had recently earned her GED in 2023.
