The shooting took place early Easter Sunday morning. Apart from Cameron, Daley also killed his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter, Damionna Reed, and her 69-year-old mother, Carole Fulmore.

Lacorvis Daley's actions did not end with the killings at the home. When Orlando police arrived, Daley engaged in a shootout with the officers and was subsequently killed by police after he fired at them as he walked out of the home.

Carter also shared that she had seen Cameron in a dream, where he hugged her and told her not to cry, which she believed was his way of comforting the family.
The family has been struggling to cope with the loss and has been trying to raise money for Cameron's funeral, which was planned for April 29. Despite the financial challenges, the community has shown support, with over $1,000 in donations collected to help with the funeral expenses.
Cameron lived in Orlando with his father, while his mother resided in South Florida. The incident has left a lasting impact on the family and the community, highlighting the tragic consequences of domestic violence and the need for support during such difficult times.
