Yojaira Perez Chun, a 16-year-old from Guatemala, was reported missing on March 24, 2022, after she had been in the United States for only about a week. She had traveled to West Valley City, Utah, to live with a distant family member, but soon after her arrival, she left her living arrangements, blocking her family member on social media and her phone.
