Gwendolyn Bass-Kemp, a 71-year-old billing specialist for Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident on May 11, 2023. The event occurred at her residence on the 1700 block of NW 27th Terrace in the Lake Aire neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
